The Campbellford/Seymour Community Foundation is pleased to announce the establishment of the Centennial Legacy Club in conjunction with the Town of Campbellford's centennial celebrations.

The Community Foundation spent two years reaching out to the community to gather ideas about a large-scale project. In February 2006 a volunteer Steering Committee was formed with fourteen members. Their task was to determine the project or projects to focus on, from an original list of fifteen. On June 26, 2006 the Steering Committee recommended a Multi-Use Recreational Facility as the initial focus. A MURF Committee, made up of community volunteers, has proceeded with this project and a feasibility study has been completed.

CSCF also encourages proponents of the other projects to continue their work.

In an effort to support community projects, and provide an opportunity for local individuals, families and businesses to receive a tax receipt for any donation of $20.00 or more, the Community Foundation is creating the Centennial Legacy Club fund. These donations will be held by the Campbellford/Seymour Community Foundation and will be used for a Trent Hills Large Scale Project.

Legacy Club members will be acknowledged in a permanent manner, and this will become a lasting memory for all who join the Legacy Club. The Campbellford/Seymour Community Foundation will graciously accept donations for a large-scale project.
