Given the recent volatility of financial markets, we are shifting our focus to protecting our endowment capital and decreased the number of grants issued in 2009. Revitalizing Kennedy Park provided an ideal project for community collaboration and levering resources.
Kennedy Park Revitalization Project
The Campbellford/Seymour Community Foundation and the Municpality of Trent Hills will match donations made by community members.
Amount: A maximum of $75,000.00 from the Community Fund and $75,000.00 from the Muncipal Fund.
Bemersyde Chapter IODE in partnership with IODE Canada.
Funded visits to local schools by children's author, Shane Peacock.
Amount: $1,200.00 from the Ontario Endowment for Children & Youth in Recreation fund.
